Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) invites applications for Food Safety Officer, Class-3 under the Health and Family Welfare Department.

Qualification:
• Master's Degree in Chemistry; OR
• Degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agriculture Science, Veterinary Science, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, or Medicine.
• Basic computer knowledge and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.

Age Limit: 18 to 37 years as on 10-11-2026. Age relaxation applicable for Women, Reserved Categories, and PwD.

Pay: Fixed ₹40,800/month for first 5 years; thereafter Level-5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300).

Application Fee: ₹500 (General); ₹400 (Reserved/Women/PwD/Ex-Servicemen). Fee refundable to candidates who appear for the exam.
